The owners of this small cottage were thrilled to acquire it and renovate it as their primary residence.  While small in size and in poor condition, the building had wonderful proportions and  a site that would be perpetually surrounded by the adjacent Jefferson University campus.  The renovation introduced a small addition to create a breakfast nook while placing a new kitchen with exposed shelving and ample daylight nearby.  The 2nd floor living spaces were renovated and the attic transformed into a guest suite.
