The Foundry is a 900 patron venue that sits above The Fillmore in the historic Ajax Building.

The Foundry is meant to serve as an intimate music venue that can be flexible in its use. Live Nation wanted a space connected to the larger Fillmore downstairs that can connect for large scale events or be closed-off in order to create a more intimate music scene.

Woodcock Design provided the capacity calculations and bar layout and design for the Foundry in 2015. The design consisted of an intimate stage with a 360° central bar.

In 2023, Live Nation asked Woodcock Design to provide a new layout for the Foundry in order to increase the capacity and generate more revenue through ticket sales and a larger bar. The new design opens up standing room for patrons and relocates the bar to the rear of the space, creating a more accessible environment for patrons and higher revenue for Live Nation.
