On the inside, City Living has restructured the building to expand the space available for cars. Large timber columns have been removed in places, and a new mezzanine event space has expanded the existing mezzanine to form a viewing room for cars and a meeting place for people.  The existing structure has been retained at the occupied mezzanines to display the original appearance of the factory inside, a requirement of the Park Service.
