Woodcock Design is collaborating with Ray Rola, Architect to design this six story 72,000 sf building with at grade parking and residential units above.  This project will activate an area near the Kensington Corridor, bringing apartment living to a former warehouse and reusing the masonry shell for the bottom two floors.  We researched the building’s history and discovered that it was once a Worsted Woolen Factory, called The Oak. We designed oak tree exterior graphics to enhance the entrance, and the parking area has incorporated colored brick to represent woven patterns all to pay homage to the building’s past.
